Women's Rights Movement
The movement today has a members list of over 400 activists stemming from all across Russia. Though our main office is seated in Moscow, our most important work is done out on the street, together or alone, against the patriarchy, (while practicing safety first, of course).
Our group consists of several activist- and womens-rights organisations, including Moscows Women's Museum and femicid.net.
It is with gratitude we now see a steady growth in the awareness regarding womens rights in Russia. We can see that our activism matters,
with almost daily occurences displaying awareness in social media, on the street and even on the news.
Visibility is key! The fight for equality began hundreds of years ago, and still goes on today. Some countries have gained more than others,
but there is still a long way to go, as this newly released article on equality world wide shows.
